This elegant 100% cotton Tenugui on a black background is decorated with
a white kitten trying to catch a fish from the pond.
The scene is surrounded by cherry blossoms. Hanami, from which it takes its name
this Tenugui, is in fact the name of the Japanese festival dedicated to flowers cherry.
Tenugui Kenema are dyed with the traditional chusen technique, performed in
paper molds: in this way the color penetrates the Tenugui, which comes
decorated on both sides. Tenugui have multiple uses, they can be used
like towels, be hung like pictures, or they can be used to make gods
gift packages. They are also used as a bandana, especially in Martial Arts.
