This beautiful Kokeshi Doll features Little Red Riding Hood. The Kokeshi Doll is treated in every detail,

it is a very rare model and sought after. The Doll wears an elegant red cape closed with a bow.

A touch of color on the white dress is given by the bouquet of flowers.

The Kokeshi is entirely hand painted by the artist Oki Izumi.

The Artist Oki Izumi was born in 1956 in the city of Shibukawa in the prefecture of Gunma.

She has won numerous awards including:

1994: "Creative Kokeshi Association Award"

1998: "Minister of Education Award"

2013: "Forestry Agency chief Award"

She is a member of the National Association of Creative Kokeshi.
