Japanese Kokeshi, decorative doll - Appreciate (Akogare)

Set of two Decorative Kokeshi Dolls embody the meaning of Akogare, which means to admire or aspire.

The smaller Kokeshi doll appears to look up to the larger one, who could represent a mother, a teacher,

a trusted friend or a more experienced older sister. The two Kokeshi wear a light colored Kimono adorned

with bright red and orange flowers. Their hair, gathered in long, soft braids, adds a touch of refinement,

framing their serene faces.
